Community service has been a vital component of our identity since 1853, when Levi Strauss gave his first profits to a children's charity. Community Day, our worldwide day to give back that demonstrates our unwavering commitment to "profits through principles," carries on this tradition. In collaboration with the amazing non-profit organization Gift of the Givers, our Levi Strauss South Africa team happily took part in this year's Community Day on May 22, 2025, with the theme Heart of a mother. The day was full of compassion, purpose, and connections with the goal of helping people in need in Cape Town. When our volunteers left the Levi Strauss office at 9:00 AM, the day started off with a feeling of excitement and unity. After a quick breakfast, the team packed food packs at the Gift of the Givers Warehouse, their first visit. This attempt marked the start of a practical jo...
